John Fulcher Memorial Trial

2014-10-19 10:00

The event will take place at Veels Ter Ver, Constantia on Sunday 19th October, starting at 10h00. If you don't know where it is please ask me or Charles to provide directions.

The event is meant for classic bikes, so the sections are much easier than in a regular trial, but modern bikes can also enter. It is also a good opportunity for first time riders.

There will only be two classes, Experts and Clubmen, with floating trophies being awarded to the first classic bike in each class. Classic bikes are essentially twin shock machines, with air cooled engines and drum brakes.

There will be an entry fee of R50 and a bring and braai after the event.

This notification is essentially to confirm the event is on and to give riders a chance to get their bikes ready.

There will not be a practice session at the venue so use the established Thursday afternoon arrangement at Zonnebloem if necessary.

Thanks

Brian.

Just a reminder to everyone

Just a reminder to everyone coming to this event to keep clear of the area around the cottage at the entrance to the venue with regard to parking and riding bikes.

Also the road going down to the venue is not in a good condition and could be a problem for some vehicles coming back out after the event.

Regards

Brian

It's going to be great

Was up there with Brian and Dion this weekend and the forest is absolutely beautiful.  Sunday will be warm and sunny.  Martin is going to bring some of his company's boerewors for us to taste.  All in all the day is going to be great fun.
