The day dawned partly cloudy and not too warm - a great day to be at the foot of Table Mountain riding trial.
I was quite nervous, as I had set 3 of the 8 sections myself without supervision. Ok, it was not as bad as it sounds - two of the sections have been used in prior trials, and the new one I had ridden once during practice. But, I did feel obliged to at least vary the sections, and I had to set for intermediate, experts and masters while only riding clubman myself. To top it all, I was not sure I could ride the clubman line on section 1 without some mishap or other!
It was very satisfying to see the experts and master riding my lines. And the clubmen did find my lines (let us say) "interesting".
Thanks to Brian and Eric for setting the other sections - the trial was the usual Nomads standard of challenging but doable and very educational.
Kobus took some drone footage of the trial. Have a look.
